Bandage dresses are made with fabric that has a high elasticity, this means that the sizes run small to ensure that they are body contouring (which is where the name body con bandage dress is taken from). They are designed to fit snugly against the body so choosing the correct size for you may be difficult.
See here for our size chart. It is recommended that take your own measurements and compare them to the stretched dress measurements. Your measurements should be the fullest part of the bust, smallest part of the waist and the widest part of the hips. You should choose the smallest size that your measurements fall into as this will ensure a snug fit. You will also notice another set of measurements, this is the size of the dress when relaxed (ie, on the hanger) and is really for information only.
The bandage dress is designed to flatter your figure, so choosing a size that is too big will not cling to all the right places – it will not look good. By the same note, choosing a bandage body con dress that is too small will not be comfortable, you may struggle to move easily and you may even struggle to fasten it when alone.
You are opting for bandage dresses because you want to look great and show off your figure, so choose your size wisely.
