As they say in the fashion world, one day you’re in, and the next you’re out — especially when you make offensive comments about women’s bodies and sexuality.
French fashion house Hervé Léger took swift action against Patrick Couderc, an executive associated with the brand, who told The Daily Mail that the brand’s signature bandage dress was not appropriate for full-figured women or lesbians.
According to Vogue UK, the brand has now terminated its relationship with Couderc, a managing director of MJH Fashions, which distributes Hervé Léger in the UK. USA TODAY has also reach out to the brand for comment.
